Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. Parents include Manny James, and Patty James. His father is Nigerian as is his mother caucasian-American. His father is Nigerian, and his mother caucasian American. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in the year 2015. James became famous after he appeared on screen for his debut as a reality show star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, making him one of the very first African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James would be a perfect match to play the role because is tall, beautiful and funny. Rachael Krakconnell, who was his girlfriend to date for the rest of the season. James teamed up with popular dancing star Arnold in 2021 to compete on season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th.
