Singer-songwriter John Denver touched millions of people, and achieved superstar status through his pop-folk songs based on folk, many of them based in Colorado. He was born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico, he was in love with Colorado and later settled in Aspen. Denver's songs that he sang about his state brought many people to Colorado.
